How do I capture MagTek logs?

  1. Run the the MagTek demo application as Administrator.
    1. Excella-STX_Demo.exe is found at the following path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MagTek\Excella-STX-ImageSafe"
  2. Select your device from the Select Device drop-down and select connect.
  3. Once connected click on the "Options" tab and select "Process Configuration..."
  4. Check the box next to the "API Log Enabled" option.
  5. Press the OK box and proceed to scan items.
    1. The log will be generated when the demo application is shutdown.
    2. The log will be placed in the same folder as the application.
Please remember to run the MagTek demo application as Administrator or the log will not be generated.
