How Do I Set Up My Canon DR-Series Document Scanner for Ranger?

The latest version of Ranger® for TWAIN, featuring Canon DR-Series  imageFORMULA® document scanner support and OCR-based MICR line reading, is now available for evaluation and developer integration.  
AlertThe TWAIN plugin requires a Ranger license to be purchased, but a short-term demo/developer license is available for testing. 
The following Canon DR-Series models are currently compatible with Ranger®:
  1. DR-G2090
  2. DR-G2110
  3. DR-G2140
  4. DR-M1060II
  5. DR-M260
Usage of the scanners listed requires Ranger for TWAIN version 2.1.0.5 or later. Since the TWAIN interface is not OEM-specific, our Ranger for TWAIN installer does not install the OEM drivers. You can download these from Canon's website.

InfoIf your application needs to read the MICR line, you’ll need to contact Canon for their TWAIN driver that supports reading the MICR via OCR. Once the driver and the Ranger for TWAIN plugin are installed, Ranger will be able to connect to the scanner as normal.
