How to manually calibrate SmartSource Micro and MicroEx

Make sure the scanner is plugged in.
Go to Start Menu-->Control Panel.
Open Scanner & Cameras by double-clicking on the icon.
Right-Click on the SmartSource Micro / MicroEx scanner icon.
On Windows XP you will get a context menu. Select Calibrate from the context menu.
On Windows Vista, select the SmartSource Micro scanner icon and then click the [Properties] button.
In the Properties dialog that comes up, go to the Advanced tab and click on the [Calibrate] button.
