I'm having Canon CR-Series scanner connectivity issues after updating to Windows 11 24H2

There's a Windows 11 24H2 device detection bug associated with CR-Series scanners which Canon and Silver Bullet Technology are aware of. 

If your scanner stopped working after installing the Windows 11 24H2 update we recommend the following: 

1. CR-50/80/L1: upgrade the Ranger plugin to 2.1.1.62 or higher.
2. CR-135i/190i/190ii: upgrade the Ranger plugin to 2.1.2.21 or higher.

If your scanner isn't listed above, and the 24H2 update has caused your scanner to stop working, please contact us.

Please note: with all Canon models, a proper reboot of both computer and scanner is recommended after installation.
