What are the unrecoverable errors?

There are three unrecoverable errors on the CR-25/CR-55 and CR-180 scanners:
  1. Canon API can not find a scanner attached
    1. Error string: "CSD_NODEVICE"
    2. Exception Type: TransportExceptionDeviceError
    3. Exception Device: TransportExceptionDeviceTransport
  2. Canon API reports that a hardware error has occurred
    1. Error string: "CSD_HARDERROR"
    2. Exception Type: TransportExceptionDeviceError
    3. Exception Device: TransportExceptionDeviceTransport
  3. Canon API reports that no ink cartridge is installed but endorsing is enabled
    1. Error string: "CSD_NOCARTRIDGE"
    2. Exception Type: TransportExceptionEndorserInkCartridgeMissing
    3. Exception Device: TransportExceptionDeviceRearEndorser
