These are the most common Ranger licensing unlock scenarios

Scenario 1: Unlocking your license for the first time
If you're unlocking a license for the first time, please refer to the steps below based on the type of license you received.
Product Key (Format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-X):

License File (Setup.dat, License.dat):

Scenario 2: Reinstalling Windows or Performing a Factory Reset
If you recently reinstalled Windows or performed a factory reset on your workstation, follow the steps under Solution 2-4.
Scenario 3: Moving to a Different Workstation or Replacing Hardware
If you’ve switched to a new workstation or replaced your workstation motherboard, follow Solution 2-4.
Scenario 4: Unexpected Modification to Windows Registry Entries
If the Windows Registry entries that our software uses were modified unexpectedly, follow Solution 2-4.
Solutions 2-4: Refer to the following steps

  3. Provide the new registration key
  4. Include a description of what changed recently and the license key
