Will Ranger updates break my applications?
Although it is impossible to guarantee that every Ranger release will be
bug-free, our number one priority is to ensure that your applications
continue to work without changes. Since scanner manufactures regularly
modify their APIs, we release updated version of Ranger to support their
changes. In short, we make changes to Ranger so that you do not need
to change your applications.
